HEMP – THE SUPER FOOD SUPPLEMENT

OK guys, I am always looking to see what great food items and/or supplements I can add to my breakfast, lunch and dinner repertoires. So, when I came across hemp, and I don’t mean the kind you smoke, it became one of my favorites. It’s the type of supplement that I now sprinkle in with just about everything I eat. It can go into protein shakes, salads, omelet’s, rice, on top of potatoes, mixed in with yogurt, on top of your fruit and even into your bowl of cereal. You can even add it on top of any pizza, and it will turbo charge that pizza into a protein packed omega rich meal. It also takes on the taste of whatever food item or items you’re mixing it in with. It is the perfect added healthy supplement!

  1. ITS RICH IN ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS

The hemp plant seeds contain about 35 per cent essential fatty omega acids. These seeds contain all 9 essential amino acids and they are an abundant source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) as well as dietary fiber. I add about 12 grams of Omega 3 and 6 to my chosen food item.

Cardiovascular disease is the number-1 killer worldwide. These seeds are particularly rich in the amino acid arginine which plays a role in the body’s production of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide causes the blood vessels to dilate and relax which lowers blood pressure and reduces your risk for heart disease.

Due to HEMPS content of dietary fats and fiber, their seeds may help you to feel fuller longer, thus repressing your appetite and helping to support your weight loss goals.
